El Pino Club Funky Jory er produceret på Pinot Noir, der er dyrket i de lerede, røde jorde i Dundee Hills i Willamette Valley i Oregon. Dette er en klasse Pinot Noir, der måske nok er produceret i den “nye verden”, men med klare referencer til Pinot Noirs hjemstavn i Bourgogne.

Vinen åbner sig op med stor kompleksitet og aromaer af tørret kirsebær, vilde jordbær og fugtig skovbund og et strejf af bagte kryderier. Finishen er silkeblød og lang med en tilpas syre. Typisk for Pinot Noir fra Dundee Hills.
